Situated within Austria's largest ski area, the Arlberg, guests can anticipate 305 kilometres of fantastic slopes catering to both beginners and professionals, idyllic winter hiking trails winding through snow-covered fir trees, and 27 kilometres of meticulously groomed cross-country skiing tracks – with Hotel Bergkristall located right at the centre of it all. Here, you’ll find ski-in, ski-out convenience at its finest! With us, every desire is catered to: From the legendary sun terrace directly onto the ski slopes, relaxing in the modern Spa Chalet with suspended loungers, floating in the wellness heaven with massage and cosmetic treatments, or savouring exceptional culinary delights. WRANN HOTELS
More than 200 years of history
We look back on a rich family legacy that extends all the way back to 1787. In that year, Valentin Wrann received a pivotal authorization to provide hospitality to travellers along the Vienna-Trieste route in Velden, Carinthia. This marked the transformation of a former post station into a full-fledged hotel operation, known today as the Hotel Post in Velden. Many generations later, in 1961, Jakob Wrann Senior expanded the family's heritage with the construction of the Seehotel Europa in Velden, primarily designed for summer operations. However, the family's innovative spirit knew no boundaries: In 1973, the opening of the Hotel Bergkristall in Oberlech followed, which seamlessly integrated into the winter sports market. In the spring of 2021, the Wrann Hotels were passed on to the ninth generation of the family to carry on this cherished tradition.

As the winter gradually retreats from the Arlberg and the ski lifts conclude their operations, we are drawn to the serene beauty of Lake Wörthersee in Carinthia, where the Seehotel Europa in Velden becomes our summer retreat. Here, we get to pursue our great passion during the summer months and welcome our guests at a place entirely devoted to the joy of lakeside living. Nestled on the shores of one of Austria's most stunning lakes and surrounded by lush greenery, Seehotel Europa offers a unique charm. Lake life, champagne, and culinary delights take centre stage, ensuring our guests an unforgettable getaway.
